The invention relates to a method for emitting a message relating to a determined type of information to be exchanged between an aircraft and a ground base, said method comprising the following steps: determination (E52) of a level of securement associated with the determined type by means of a correspondence table; emission (E54) of the message according to a protocol having the determined level of securement. The invention also relates to an associated reception method and corresponding devices. The invention can especially be applied in an aircraft.
