<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a large and heavy power supply device safely and efficiently utilizing effectively a spare tire housing room. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle is mounted with power supply devices 10, 30, 50 in which a plurality of chargeable batteries 11, 31, 51 are housed in cases 12, 32, 52. The cases 12, 32, 52 of the power supply devices 10, 30, 50 house a plurality of batteries 11, 31, 51 in a standing posture. Furthermore, these cases 12, 32, 52 have a disk shape and their outer diameter is almost equal to the outer diameter of the tire 9 of the vehicle mounting the power supply devices 10, 30, 50, and the height is made almost equal to the width of the tire 9.
