<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging structure of connectors capable of improving packaging density and connection reliability, and to provide an electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: The surface-mount-type connector 300, where a plurality of terminals 310 are arranged on a housing 320, is packaged on a circuit board 200 in which electronic components are packaged. The connector 300 includes a base section 321 where a plurality of terminals 310 are buried and arranged partially as the housing 320, and a cylindrical section 322 that stores one portion of the circuit board 200 and is supplied for external connection. While the circuit board 200 is stored in the cylindrical section 322, a prescribed space (gap) S is composed between a storage part in the cylindrical section on the back of the terminal packaging section on the circuit board 200 and an opposing part 323a at the cylindrical section that opposes the part.
