<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive transfer image receiving sheet, which is highly sensitive, has few image defect and high sharpness. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet is manufactured by employing a coating composition including a polymer latex containing a repeating unit derived from a monomer expressed by the formula, wherein R<SP>1</SP>represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group, L<SP>1</SP>represents a bivalent combining group including either an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom bonded with Y by means of a heteroatom under the condition that Y is a functional group having at least two combining groups selected from the group consisting of -COO-, -COS- and -CON(R)-, wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a 1-8C alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
