<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having a wide dynamic range in which an image having high resolution is obtained and occurrence of line shade in the image obtained can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 comprises an all pixel read-out image sensor 2 outputting a LONG signal and a SHORT signal within one field period for every pixel line, a section 7 for calculating the synthetic level where the luminance level of the LONG signal saturates for every pixel line, a section 8 for calculating an offset for raising the luminance level of the SHORT signal up to the synthetic level, and a level synthesis means 9 generating a level synthetic signal for every pixel line such that it becomes the LONG signal when the luminance level is lower than the synthetic level otherwise it becomes the SHORT signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
