<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreading code allocation method, spreading code allocation apparatus and program for spreading code allocation in which intra-cell interference can be reduced and communication velocity can be accelerated by adjusting the number of spreading codes to be secured for a high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) based on a situation where the spreading codes secured for HSDPA are utilized. <P>SOLUTION: Transmission power used for all communications, transmission power used for communications other than HSDPA and a data transmission rate of communications using HSDPA are measured and a utilization rate of spreading codes secured for HSDPA is calculated from these measurements. If the utilization rate of secured spreading codes is high, the number of spreading codes to be secured for HSDPA is increased but if the utilization rate of spreading code is low, the number of spreading codes to be secured for HSDPA is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
