<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile capable of expanding/contracting in mounting and facilitating the mounting. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip 10 has a mounting base part 20 where both ends of the longitudinal direction are connected at the connection part and are circularly formed, and which is mounted to a flange 7 which is provided on either one of a vehicle body opening part opening/closing member or a vehicle body opening part peripheral edge, and a seal part 30 which is integrally provided on the mounting base part 20, and abuts to the vehicle body opening part peripheral edge or the vehicle body opening part opening/closing member of the other member to seal between them. The mounting base part 20 has at least a bottom wall 26 and a side wall 21 of the outside of the vehicle, is formed in an approximately L-shaped cross section, a double-faced adhesive tape 25 is attached to the side surface inside of the vehicle of the side wall 21 of the outside of the vehicle, and the double-faced adhesive tape 25 is not attached to the joint 11 and a predetermined length part of fore and aft joint 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
