<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal which is made available when a first case and a second case are mounted removably and a regular second case is connected for the first case. <P>SOLUTION: A first case 1 comprises a sub-display section 3, an input section 4, a microphone 5, a sub-speaker 6, an antenna 7, a base station communication circuit 8, a storage section 9, a main control section 10, and a battery charger 11. A second case 2 comprises a main display section 12, a camera 13, a main speaker 14, a memory 15, and a sub-control section 16. When the first case 1 and the second case 2 are connected, the main control section 10 authenticates a password inputted from the input section 4 and a password stored in the memory 15.
