<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable supply tray having a guide plate slidably arranged in an upper part of the supply tray and capable of surely carrying an another recording medium separate from a recording medium layered and stored in the supply tray; and to provide an image forming apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a lock mechanism capable of positioning and fixing a second tray 40 to the supply tray 30, by slidably arranging the second tray 40 capable of storing at least one sheet of the recording medium different from the recording medium stored in the supply tray 30, in the predetermined direction in the upper part of the supply tray 30 capable of storing a plurality of sheet-like recording media in a layering state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
