<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can be made compact and inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: A transmitting side unit is provided with: a first converting means for converting an analog signal of a first range area in the entire range of the analog signal level into a first digital signal of first resolution being an analog signal level per bit and converting an analog signal of a second range area in the entire range into a first digital signal of second resolution larger than the first resolution; and a first communication means for transmitting the first digital signal to a receiving side unit. The receiving side unit is provided with a second communication means for receiving the first digital signal, and a second converting means for judging which of the range areas of the first range area and the second area the first digital signal received by the second communication means corresponds to and converting the first digital signal into a second digital signal on the basis of the first and second resolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
