<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of notifying a user what a paper size for print data with an original as it is without breaking the data halfway and without printing the data while dividing the data into a plurality of pages. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor provided with a function for preparing print data and transmitting the print data to a printer determines a paper size in which the prepared print data can be printed and notifies the user of the paper size. The paper size is a fixed paper size. Also the paper size is a non-fixed paper size. The paper size to be determined is determined while including margin dimensions.
