PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device of an internal combustion engine which makes possible an arbitrary change in a formation ratio of high-octane-value fuel (isomerization fuel) to high-combustion-speed fuel (decomposition fuel). SOLUTION: Isomerization reforming and decomposition reforming are provided to the feed fuel to the internal combustion engine 1 by a reforming catalyst 6. Each of the fuel injectors 27, 33, 35 separately supplies main fuel, the isomerization fuel formed by the isomerization reforming, and the decomposition fuel formed by the decomposition reforming to the internal combustion engine 1. The ratio of the isomerization reforming to the decomposition reforming depends on the temperature of the reforming catalyst 6. Then the amount of fuel supply to the reforming catalyst 6 is adjusted by an fuel injector 8, and the amount of supply air is adjusted by an air-volume-control valve 14. Thus, the temperature of the catalyst is controlled, and the formation ratio of the isomerization fuel to the decomposition fuel is changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
