PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeless lighting apparatus utilizing a microwave and its electric source controlling method to lengthen a lifetime of magnetron by maintaining voltage and current supplied to the magnetron constant when input alternating current voltage fluctuates and the current flowing through a filament of the magnetron is changed. SOLUTION: The electrodeless lighting apparatus includes a method of maintaining the voltage and current supplied to the magnetron 14 constant, by compensating changing ratio of the input alternating current voltage when the input alternating current voltage changes and an oscillating current flowing through the filament of magnetron 14 is changed.
