PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system which reduces a power consumption and enables a simplification of the configuration without preparing a reflective signal absorption element in an internal and/or an exterior of a memory controller. SOLUTION: A first memory group 40 which consists of memory modules 4A-4D is connected to a bus wiring 3B and a second memory group 50 which consists of memory modules 5A-5D is connected to a bus wiring 3C. By connecting a bus wiring 3A to the bus wiring 3B and 3C in T-shape, and connecting a memory controller 2 to this bus wiring 3A, the memory controller 2 is located in the middle of first and second memory groups 40 and 50. The memory modules 4A and 5D in both ends of the bus wiring 3B and 3C have termination resistors. If either of the memory modules in the first and second memory groups 40 and 50 becomes active, the memory controller 2 turns on both or one of the termination resistors of memory modules 4A and 5D.
