PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To steeply activate an output voltage by shortening an activation time while suppressing overshoot of the output voltage. SOLUTION: The output voltage is steeply activated by providing a PMOS transistor 31 of a switching means connected between input and output of a switching regulator, and a hysteresis comparator 32 for bringing a PMOS transistor 8 as a main switch means into an off state when an output voltage Vo is not more than a predetermined value and bringing the PMOS transistor 31 into an on state. Further, the hysteresis comparator 32 monitors the output voltage Vo, and when the output voltage Vo reaches a value of 90% of a target setting voltage, the PMOS transistor 31 is brought into an off state to switch it to usual control.
