PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microvalve device which blocks and releases the flow of liquid through a fine passage with a simple construction. SOLUTION: A chip 1 for a microchemical system comprises a base material 10 including a liquid passage 2 and a microvalve device 3 formed inside the base material. In the downstream side of the liquid passage 2, a weir 41 reducing the cross-section of the liquid passage 2 is formed. The base material 10 comprises: a channel member 2 having the liquid passage 2; the weir 41; a channel member 12 and a valve passage 31 formed on the surface; and a cover member 11 covering the channel member 12. The microvalve device 3 comprises a valve passage structure consisting of a valve passage 31 intersecting the liquid passage 2 at a confluence portion 32, and a fluid control mechanism 5 supplying a fluid for control through a connection structure 51 and a connection hole 6.
