PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor without generating noise and without damaging a skirt guard panel in operation. SOLUTION: A large number of steps 2 are endlessly arranged inside a truss 1. A front wheel roller 3 is installed on the front side of both side surfaces of the respective steps, and a rear wheel roller 4 is installed on the rear end side. An endless step chain 5 is arranged on both sides of the steps, and connected to the respective steps. A front wheel guide rail 8 extending in the advancing direction of the steps and guiding the front wheel roller, and a rear wheel guide rail 9 extending in the advancing direction of the steps and guiding the rear wheel roller, are arranged on both sides of the steps. The rear wheel guide rail has a regulating part 9a vertically projecting from its roller guide surface and extending in the advancing direction of the steps.
