PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle which can arrange a motor unit at the lower position of a nearly central portion of the power-assisted bicycle, and also can furthermore reduce its weight and manufacturing cost while keeping its strength excellent, and further can easily move a rider's leg over a lower pipe in the case of getting on/off the bicycle. SOLUTION: The power-assisted bicycle comprises a motor unit 6 having a crankshaft 1 for inputting an input driving power, a bearing portion for rotatably supporting the crankshaft 1, bearing holding portions 4a, 4b for holding the bearing portion, and an electric motor serving as an auxiliary driving power generating source for generating the auxiliary driving power to be added to the input driving power, wherein the bearing holding portions 4a, 4b of the motor unit 6 are arranged in a hanger lug 7, and the crankshaft 1 is rotatably supported by the hanger lug 7 via the bearing holding portions 4a, 4b and the bearing portion of the motor unit 6.
