PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an annular formed article with which the metal-made annular formed article can easily and precisely be manufactured in a low cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the annular formed article is provided with: an annular body forming process for forming the annular body R by hot-forming or warm-forming a metal blank , or cutting off a pipe material; an outer diameter-sizing process for forming a prescribed dimension by cold-sizing the outer diameter of the annular body R; and a cold gear rolling process for thread-rolling the annular body R.
