The drive has a hydraulic pump (4) and hydraulic motors (11, 12) that are connected with the pump over control lines (5, 6), where the hydraulic motors are arranged parallel to each other. Storages (18, 19) with the control lines store pressure energy as kinetic energy. A driving direction valve (22) e.g. 4/3 way valve, is provided for connecting the storages with the control lines during actuating a brake device. The storages with the control lines are connected in switching positions (31, 32) of the valve, respectively. A pressurizing device (33) is connected upstream of the storage (18).
