Manufacture of dental prostheses

摘要

The method involves scanning a dermis structure in a tooth-free area of a lower jaw or an upper jaw in order to determine a data set (2) describing a shape of the dermis structure. Another data set (6) describing a shape of a removed dental prostheses (8) is determined, where the shape of the prostheses has a mucus dermis area (9) and a tooth area (10) adjacent to the mucus dermis area. A machine (7) with the latter data set is controlled for carving the shape of the dental prostheses from a plastic preform.
