The method involves placing a membrane into a mold cavity before injection of a plastic material for forming a molded inner partition wall (6) in a multicompartment product storage and distribution container blank. The wall extends between ends (3, 4) of a molded plastic material body (2) of the distribution container blank for delimiting compartments (7, 8) that contain respective products e.g. lipstick. The membrane comprises a metallic film made of aluminum and is utilized in the form of a ribbon and displaced in translation after molding of the blank for forming a set of blanks. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a container blank obtained by a multicompartment product storage and distribution container blank manufacturing method (2) a product storage and distribution container obtained by a multicompartment product storage and distribution container blank manufacturing method.
