Pressure-sensitive adhesive and its use

In a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that compensates for unevenness in the substrate, comprising a basic adhesive composition (I) and an additive (II), (II) is a microparticulate additive that is insoluble in (I), does not crosslink with (I) and has a bulk density of 0.05-0.25 g/cm 3> and average particle diameter in the mu m region. Independent claims are included for (1) adhesive coating with a layer of this composition; (2) self-adhesive sheets, especially self-adhesive tape with the coating; (3) process for coating a flat structure with the composition.
