A navigation method for guiding a speed monitoring camera is provided to inform existence of the speed monitoring camera to a driver by using speed monitoring camera data, position information from satellites, and an electronic map having road information. Current vehicle position and driving direction information are received from plural satellites. Camera data, which is related in camera coordinates and roads installed cameras, is obtained from respective speed monitoring cameras. Whether a speed monitoring camera is or not is determined using the camera data. Conditions, such as a distance to the speed monitoring camera, a driving angle, and a speed monitoring camera angle, are estimated(S2). When the conditions are within a predetermined range, a road type data from an electronic map is compared with that from the cameras(S3-S5). When the comparison result is within a predetermined range, a road name from an electronic map is compared with that from the camera data according to the comparison(S6-S7). Then, an existence of the speed monitoring camera is guided using audio and image signals(S8).
