A cap for preventing over-torque of a valve is provided to lengthen the duration life of the valve by preventing an inner structure from being damaged when the valve is operated by an excessive rotational force. A cap for preventing over-torque of a valve includes a hub(2), at least one plate spring(3), two rings(4), an O-ring(5), a cap body(6), a fixing cover(7), and a wrench bolt(8). A shaft insertion hole(21) is formed at a center of the hub. At least one plate spring is positioned on an upper surface of the hub. The two rings are inserted in an upper portion and a lower portion of the hub. The O-ring is inserted in an O-ring insertion hole of the hub. The cap body includes a handle insertion portion, a hub insertion hole, a fixing hook, and a screw hole. The fixing cover is inserted into a lower end of the hub. The wrench bolt is inserted in the screw hole of the cap body. One end of the wrench bolt is inserted/separated in/from a fixing groove of the hub, respectively.
