The installation unit has a slide valve (40) formed as a plastic molded part, and a spring arm (42) held in a base plate (41). A groove (51) is molded with a connecting link (52) in a guideway, where the link is formed by a base of the groove. The spring arm has a free end that is supported on the connecting link. A retention force acting in a direction of a clamping flange (462) is induced in a rest position, and a retention force in the slide valve is induced in another rest position. An independent claim is also included for a slide valve provided for an electrical installation unit.
