摘要 A tripod constant velocity joint for reducing vibration and axial force is provided to make a better ride by restricting axial force and the moment of a roller assembly, to cut down manufacturing cost by simplifying the shape of the trunnion, and to improve durability by reducing friction force. A tripod constant velocity joint(100) comprises an outer race(110), a spider(120), an outer roller(130), a needle bearing(140), and a guide ring(150). Three tracks(112) are arranged circumferentially in the outer race, and the spider with three trunnions(122) is inserted to the outer race. A flat outer surface is formed in the trunnion, and the outer roller is rolled, slid and contacted between the flat outer surface and the outer race to transmit load from the outer race. The outer bore of the outer roller is formed like the inner bore of the track of the outer race, and an extension support part(132) is formed inward in the lower part of the outer roller to support the outer roller, the needle bearing and the guide ring.
