A surface treatment method of parts for fishing reel which improves corrosion resistance of the parts by grinding an iron oxide coating layer formed on the outermost portion of a nitride layer after additionally gas nitriding and oxidizing parts such as a bearing and air clutch used in a fishing reel is provided. In an additional surface treatment method of parts for fishing reel that have been heat-treated under vacuum, a surface treatment method of the parts for fishing reel is characterized in that the additional surface treatment method comprises: a preheating process(200) of preheating the parts for fishing reel in a nitrogen atmosphere after parts for fishing reel are injected into a furnace; a gas nitriding process(300) of forming a nitride layer by gas nitriding the preheated parts for fishing reel while supplying a mixed gas of ammonia, nitrogen and carbon dioxide to the parts for fishing reel; an oxidizing process(400) of forming an oxide coating film by oxidizing the gas nitrided parts for fishing reel by using water vapor; and a grinding process of grinding an oxide coating layer formed on an outer portion of the nitride layer.
