METHOD OF UPLINK SIGNALING FOR STREAMING SERVICES IN PACKET MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, BASE STATION AND MOBILE TERMINAL

An uplink signaling method for supporting a streaming service in a packet mobile communication system, and a base station and mobile station therefor are provided to transmit uplink data so as to satisfy the time constraint of a streaming service which requires a real-time service and to give an opportunity of fair scheduling to the mobile stations connected to a base station. A base station for supporting a streaming service in a packet mobile communication system comprises a channel state measurement part(33), an average data rate calculation part(34), a control information processing part(32), and a resource allocation part(35). The channel state measurement part(33) measures uplink channel state of the whole base station by using a channel state measurement reference signal which is periodically received from a mobile station. The average data rate calculation part(34) calculates the average data rate for each subcarrier group by using the measured uplink channel state. The control information processing part(32) processes the control information transmitted from the mobile station. The resource allocation part(35) allocates uplink resources by using the calculated average data rate and the characteristic information of a packet service transferred through the control information processing part(32) from the mobile station. The resource allocation part(35) compares a data rate, transferred from the mobile terminal, with the calculated average data rate and sets an allowable transmission window.
