A digital broadcasting receiver is provided to remove harmonic components radiated from an output pin of an MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group) decoder for restoring a digital signal, demodulated through a demodulator, into a desired video/audio signal by performing compression release of the digital signal, thereby preventing bad effects on peripheral components and signals due to harmonic components. A digital broadcasting receiver comprises the following parts: a tuner(21) for selecting and tuning a specific frequency band of a desired broadcasting channel with respect to a received digital broadcasting signal; a demodulator(22) which converts the signal, tuned by the tuner, into a digital signal and decodes and outputs the digital signal; an MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group) decoder(23) for restoring the digital signal into a desired video/audio signal by performing compression release of the digital signal outputted from the demodulator; and a harmonic removing unit(24) for removing harmonic components radiated from the MPEG decoder.
