An audio signal processing method and an audio signal processing apparatus are provided to reduce time considerably required for a processing and operating stage when generating an output signal. A bit stream decoding unit(110) extracts a space parameter from a space information bit stream. A matrix component generating unit(120) generates a matrix component by using the space parameter. A 3D unit(130) generates an audio signal as a 3D audio signal. A rendering unit(140) renders the 3D audio signal as one or more channel signals by using the space parameter.
