PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the spillover of grease and to improve the sealability to dust in a sealing device 1 provided with a dust seal 3 for preventing the intrusion of dust from the outside of machine B side of a roller bearing part 22 to the inside of machine A side in a continuous casting machine, and allowing the grease at the inside of machine A side to be spilled over to the outside of machine B side of the dust seal 3 by its supply pressure to increase the sealing performance. SOLUTION: An exclusive grease spillover passage 12 is formed on an outer peripheral side of the dust seal 3 to allow grease at the inside of machine A side to be spilled over to the outside of machine B side of the dust seal 3 by its supply pressure. The spillover passage 12 is preferably formed by a slit groove 11 formed on an outer peripheral fitting rubber part of the sealing device 1. A check valve is preferably mounted on an outlet part of the spillover passage 12 for preventing the back-flow of the dust. |
