An apparatus for forming image is provided to reduce noise by dispersing a press forced to an idle roller and to prevent repeatedly transmission by extending a contacting area. An apparatus for forming image includes a paper supplier(400). The paper supplier includes a knock up plate, a pick up roller(100), a double carry blocking member(200), and a height limiting member. The pick up roller includes a rubber roller, an elastic pressing unit, and an idle roller. The rubber roller provides friction force to a top sheet of the paper in a paper loading unit to provide the paper to a carry roller. The rubber roller includes a groove for not contacting the paper. The elastic pressing unit is connected to cover the groove of the rubber roller. The elastic pressing unit contacts the paper and applies elastic force to the double carry blocking member. The idle roller is mounted on both end sides of the rubber roller to help the paper to transmit into the carry roller.
