A method for fitting a valve into a tire rim has the lower part (10) of the valve housing inside the type and provided with a groove to hold a profiled elastic seal. The seal reaches past the bottom of the upper housing (14) and is compressed by securing the outer sleeved nut (16). The seal covers the manufacturing tolerances and the valve fitting can accommodate large fitting torques. |
