A double glazed unit is disclosed comprising at least two inner panes 12, 14, wherein an inner pane 12 is bonded along at least one edge to at least one other inner pane 14 to form a bonded inner pane and at least two outer panes 18, 20 wherein an outer pane 18 is bonded along at least one edge to at least one other outer pane 20 to form a bonded outer pane. A fixing means 24 fixes the inner bonded pane and the outer bonded pane apart from each other to form a double glazed unit. By constructing a double glazed unit in this manner, a double glazed corner unit can be constructed without having a non-transparent portion at the corner. |
