BATTERY PACK EMPLOYED WITH PTC BODY

摘要

A battery pack is provided to be safe from physical or electrochemical effects occurring during the production process of battery packs and reduce the production process largely by fitting a PTC body without a separate connection unit in an insulating member to attain an electric connection. A battery pack comprises an insulating member(300) which is installed at the upper end of a battery cell to load a protective circuit module(PCM) and has a receiving part(310) for mounting a PTC(400). A metal plate(a first metal plate, 320) to be connected to a PTC is installed on the top surface of the receiving part. The PTC without an electrical connection unit is fitted in the receiving part to attain both a connection to the first metal plate(320) and an electrical connection to an electrode terminal of a battery cell in contact mode.
