A management server and a method for examining log information of an auxiliary module with a text message are provided to examine the log information of an auxiliary function of a mobile terminal used by a user, and enable the mobile terminal to record and provide the log information for the currently used auxiliary function by the text message received from a management server. A messaging part(111) transmits a recording request message for requesting the mobile terminal(100) to record the log information for the module corresponding to the auxiliary function and transmits a transmission request message for requesting the mobile terminal to transmit the recorded log information. A log information examiner(112) receives the log information for the auxiliary function from the mobile terminal. The transmission request message includes a callback URL(Uniform Resource Locator) for the log information examiner and the mobile terminal transmits the log information to a database of the callback URL by the transmission request message. The message is one of an SMS(Short Message Service), MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service), LMS(Long Message Service), and UMS(Unified Messaging Service) message.
