A slide/hinge device of a portable terminal is provided to enable a cover to tilt at a predetermined angle when the cover finishes sliding, thus a sending part and a receiving part of a cellular phone can be close to a user's mouth and ear, thereby improving sensitivities of sending and reception. A fixed plate(100) is fixed to a body, and is equipped with guide holes(111) in guide parts(110). A mobile plate(200) is fixed to a cover, and is equipped with slide rails(210) in length direction on both sides. A guide plate(300) is interposed between the fixed and mobile plates(100,200), and is equipped with bent parts(310) to install slide grooves(311) on both sides, and wherein ends of the bent parts(310) are hinge-coupled with the guide parts(110). A mobile guide bar(400) is interposed between the rails(210) and the bent parts(310) in order to move, and is equipped with guide slots on both sides. On one side of a tilt guide bar(500), a mobile rail(510) inserted into the guide slots is formed, while a guide projection(520) inserted into the guide holes is formed on the other side.
