<p>A call processing improvement method of a 1x system for improving wireless Internet speed in a mobile communication terminal is provided to change call processing so as to use high-speed data from existing low-speed data when a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol)1.3-based wireless Internet is used in a 1x network system, thereby reducing menu mobile time and initial access time. If a wireless Internet access request is received from a terminal user, a terminal(300) sets a call for a wireless Internet service to a BTS(Base Transceiver Station) and a BSC(Base Station Controller)(330,350)(S400). Service negotiation for wireless Internet data speed is carried out between the terminal and the BTS/BSC(S402). PPP(Point to Point Protocol) connection is conducted between the terminal and a PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node)(370) to perform wireless Internet browsing at negotiated high data speed(S404).</p> |
