A rod for permanent wave and a heating apparatus thereof are provided to have a simple structure of being heated in the state that no separate power is supplied from the outside, and to be used conveniently. A rod for permanent wave includes a body(20), a variable temperature solution(100), a reversal unit(30), and a heat accumulating member. The body(20) includes a sealed space portion(21) in a longitudinal direction, and hanging protrusions(22) are formed at the end of the body. The variable temperature solution is stored in the space portion(21). The reversal unit is installed on the both sides or outer circumference of the body to induce molecular motion of the variable temperature solution(100). The heat accumulating member is installed on the body(20), and stores the heat generated from the variable temperature solution.
