A system for protecting a building from earthquake is provided to absorb vibrations of earthquake which may cause collapse of the building by mounting a spring device and a thrust wheel under a die and installing a suspension at the edge. A system for protecting a building from earthquake comprises a concrete pile(1), a die(2), a spring, a thrust wheel, a column, and a cylinder piston type suspension. A method for constructing the system comprises the steps of: setting the pile in the ground and installing the die for a primary earthquake prevention; attaching the cylinder piston type thrust wheel for supporting the building and a coil spring for preventing vibration to the die; setting the pile on the ground and connecting the square concrete column; fixing the cylinder piston type suspension and a bearing ball on a wall; forming a pipe, a wheel case, a steel wheel, a wheel shaft, and a ring plate; and attaching a hinge to the pipe.
