A plasma display device is provided to reduce the amount of electromagnetic waves radiated to a front surface of a plasma display panel by arranging a ground unit at a direct attaching type filter. A direct attaching type filter(160) is arranged at a front surface of a plasma display panel(110). A cabinet(150) is used for receiving the plasma display panel. A ground unit(170) is arranged at an edge of the direct attaching type filter. The ground unit comes in contact with the plasma display panel and the cabinet at the same time. A chassis(120) is formed to support the plasma display panel. A circuit unit(130) is arranged at a backside of the chassis in order to generate an electrical signal for driving the plasma display panel. The ground unit is formed with a sponge or a tape for shielding EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interference).
