An earphone is provided to control efficiently the sound of high and low frequency bands by preventing an opening unit installed on the front/rear of the earphone from being blocked by an ear. An earphone(100) includes an electric sound converter and a housing(120). The electric sound converter converts an audio signal into a sound. The housing is installed inside of the electric sound converter and has a sound outputting unit and an opening unit(123a). The sound outputting unit guides the sound discharged from the electric sound converter to the external auditory meatus of an ear when being installed on the ear. The opening unit is connected to inner and outer parts of the earphone. The electric sound converter is arranged to discharge the sound in a direction of crossing the external auditory meatus of the ear to prevent the opening unit from being blocked by the ear.
