A turn table apparatus for assembling a vehicle body is provided to preclude the slip generated between a rolling band and a driving roller at the starting point of a turn table by engaging the interval between the rolling band and the driving roller through a gear engaging part. A turn table apparatus for assembling a vehicle body comprises a turn table(10), a driving roller(20), a driving motor(22), an air cylinder(30), and a gear engaging part. The turn table is installed with a rolling band(12) on an outer peripheral surface thereof. The driving roller rotatably drives the turn table. The air cylinder presses the driving roller to cause the friction of the driving roller on the rolling band. The gear engaging part engages the interval between the rolling band and the driving roller to preclude the slip generated between the rolling band and the driving roller at the starting point of the turn table. The gear engaging part includes a pinion gear part(24), and a rack gear part(26).
