An electronic musical device for playing received music contents and a computer-readable recording medium thereof are provided to enable a user to select a display screen freely and consider a copyright of the music contents stream-distributed from a content distribution server. A receiver receives the music contents including the stream-distributed music contents from the content distribution server. A player plays the received music contents. A store forbidder forbids the received music contents to be stored to a non-volatile memory if the music contents to be stored are downloaded from the content distribution server. A temporary storing part(64a) temporarily stores the received music contents. The temporary storing part is used for temporarily storing the downloaded or edited music contents in common. Forbiddance is released when stream-distribution of the music contents is terminated. The player plays the music contents stored in the temporary storing part. The music contents stored in the temporary storing part is deleted when the player terminates playback of the music contents.
