An apparatus for reducing intake noise of an engine for a vehicle is provided to reduce the pulsation noise generated when an intake valve is closed by installing a Helmholtz resonator in a guide passage. An apparatus for reducing intake noise of an engine for a vehicle includes an air intake duct(100) and an air cleaner(200). The air intake duct includes an inlet(101), an outlet, and a neck connecting hole(111) formed on one part of a main wall(110) to be connected to an inner passage. A first Helmholtz resonator(400) is installed on the main wall, and a second Helmholtz resonator(500) is integrally formed at one side of the inner part of the inlet. The air cleaner filters air supplied from the air intake duct to supply the filtered air to the engine. Ribs are formed on the interiors of the first and second Helmholtz resonators respectively. Brackets(420) each having an engaging hole(421) are formed on both sides of the first Helmholtz resonator. A rivet hole(112) to which the first Helmholtz is engaged by a rivet is formed on the peripheral wall of the air intake duct at a position corresponding to the engaging hole.
