FIELD: somatic diseases. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for preventing, treating, and rehabiliting a wide spectrum of human somatic diseases. To that end, periodic inhalation of oxygen/xenon mixture (between 50:50 and 30:70 by volume) is accomplished. Each inhalation is performed twice a day, in mornings and in evenings, over a 7-10 days period. Content of xenon in the mixture is increased since the second or third day and inhalation time is increased from 3-5 min in the first two days to 7-15 min in subsequent days. Method allows regulatory functions of organs and systems in general, from central nervous system to regional level, to be restored through activation of compensatory possibilities of organism due to created regimen of stable post-xenon unspecific general somatic response of organism caused by use of worked out conditions of periodic inhalation with oxygen/xenon mixture. ^ EFFECT: optimized therapy conditions. ^ 1 tbl |
