PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A plasma display panel is provided to simplify a manufacturing process of an electromagnetic wave shielding layer by forming directly the electromagnetic wave shielding layer between a front substrate and a barrier rib. A front substrate(111) and a rear substrate(121) are arranged opposite to each other in order to define a discharge space therebetween. A barrier rib(130) is arranged between the front and the rear substrates in order to define the discharge space as a plurality of discharge cells. An electromagnetic wave shielding layer(190) is arranged between the front substrate and the barrier rib and is separated from the barrier rib. A first dielectric layer(114) is formed to cover the electromagnetic wave shielding layer. The electromagnetic wave shielding layer is separated from the barrier rib by the first dielectric layer. A plurality of pairs of sustain electrodes(112) cause mutual discharge within the discharge cells. A second dielectric layer(115) is laminated on the first dielectric layer in order to cover the pairs of sustain electrodes.
