FIELD: processes and equipment for vacuum-arc treatment of elongated articles, possibly in different branches of machine engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of vacuum-arc cleaning of articles and moving them out of vacuum chamber at least through one outlet drawing die where articles are squeezed. Vacuum-arc cleaning is performed at oxidizing. Between stages of vacuum-arc cleaning and squeezing of article, coating or coatings are applied onto it and (or) article is alloyed. Said procedures may be realized without cooling or with cooling before and (or) after coating application and(or) alloying. Method allows perform operations of treating wire, tubes, rods, bands, possibly for cleaning them, applying coatings, sizing, drawing; cleaning and alloying surface, sizing and drawing other products. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of method. ^ 4 dwg |
