A method for assessing the adaptation potential in children of 6-17 years old comprises the determination of cardiovascular system indices. The heart rate, systolic and diastolic pressure, weight, body length, and age of a child are determined and the level of adaptation potential is assessed according to individual values of functional changes index taking into account age and sex.
